I Found Light Against All Odds is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping today’s youth address social, emotional, and economic issues that they are experiencing in their lives. We are a resource to those that are going through difficult times and provide them with guidance. We truly feel that WE can make a difference in the lives of our youth that do not see the light.

Our Mission & Vision

I Found Light Against All Odds allows community, youth, and families to share the challenges they have faced during their lives while inspiring others to never give up hope and seeing that there is light after darkness.

We provide high risk youth and families with tools and opportunities to break the cycle of poverty, desperation and dependence that dominates their lives, enabling them to become contributing members of our community.

Stefan B. Davis

Our Founder

Stefan B. Davis is the CEO/Founder of I Found Light Against All Odds & Lighthouse. I Found Light Against All Odds was created to address social, emotional, and economic issues that today's youth are experiencing in their lives. Stefan has used his personal issues growing up and past experiences as a platform to help others in need and contributes his success to the youth and families who inspire him each day. Stefan's and IFLAAO & Lighthouse's mission is to create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment for young women, ages 18-20, who are housing-insecure and in need of shelter and supportive services.


Stefan holds a B.A. degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Moderate Disabilities. He is a 100 Men of Color Award recipient, was recognized as an American Graduate Champion and received recognition from President Barack Obama for his documentary, “A Fresh Start from Darkness to Light”. In 2018, he was awarded the Community Game Changer Award and was a recipient of the Western Massachusetts Association of Black Business and Professionals "Social Impact Award". In addition, Stefan was a 2022 Business West Difference Maker recipient.
