I Found Light Against All Odds is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping today’s youth address social, emotional, and economic issues that they are experiencing in their lives. We are a resource to those that are going through difficult times and provide them with guidance. We truly feel that WE can make a difference in the lives of our youth that do not see the light.

Our Mission & Vision

I Found Light Against All Odds allows community, youth, and families to share the challenges they have faced during their lives while inspiring others to never give up hope and seeing that there is light after darkness.

We provide high risk youth and families with tools and opportunities to break the cycle of poverty, desperation and dependence that dominates their lives, enabling them to become contributing members of our community.

Stefan B. Davis

Our Founder

Stefan B. Davis is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of I Found Light Against All Odds (IFLAAO) and The Lighthouse, which is dedicated to addressing the social, emotional, and economic challenges faced by today’s youth. Through his leadership, Stefan has built programs that provide housing, guidance, and comprehensive support for young women ages 18–20 who are housing-insecure and seeking stability and opportunity. Motivated by his own life experiences, Stefan has transformed adversity into purpose—creating pathways for others to thrive. Under his direction, IFLAAO and The Lighthouse focus on empowerment, education, and sustainable change, ensuring every young woman served has the tools and support to succeed.



Stefan holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in Moderate Disabilities. His professional achievements and community impact have been recognized through numerous honors, including:

  • Presidential Recognition from Barack Obama for the documentary “A Fresh Start: From Darkness to Light”
  • City of Springfield Massachusetts 2016 Proclamation Recipient
