What We Do

Lighthouse

Our mission is to create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment for young women, ages 18-20, who are housing-insecure and in need of shelter and supportive services.

Our vision is to prevent and end homelessness amongst these young women. When we give them an opportunity to live harmoniously within the community, they can do amazing things and shine light on others.

Scholarships

2025 Scholarship Deadline is April 18, 2025

As we approach the final months of the 2024-2025 school year, I Found Light Against All Odds, a local non-profit organization, is set to award scholarships to at risk youth. We are reaching out to Western Massachusetts school districts in search of candidates that have been accepted to an accredited college, technical school or certification program and who would be recommended for one of our $1000 scholarships.

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants will need to write a 1,000-word essay that shows how they found light after darkness through their journey in high school. In detail, they should explain how the darkness began and how they found light in education.
