Our mission is to create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment for girls, ages 18-20, who are housing-insecure and in need of shelter and supportive services.
Our vision is to prevent and end homelessness amongst these girls. When we give them an opportunity to live harmoniously within the community, they can do amazing things and shine light on others.

2024 Scholarship Deadline is April 19, 2024
As we approach the final months of the 2023-2024 school year, I Found Light Against All Odds, a local non-profit organization, is set to award scholarships to at risk youth. We are reaching out to Western Massachusetts school districts in search of candidates that have been accepted to an accredited college, technical school or certification program and who would be recommended for one of our $500 scholarships.
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants will need to write a 1,000-word essay that shows how they found light after darkness through their journey in high school. In detail, they should explain how the darkness began and how they found light in education. Please complete the form below.
The recipients of these awards will be notified the first week of May and will be invited to attend an Awards Celebration at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. We appreciate any feedback you may have, and we look forward to hearing from the students!
